iv come across this guy Chris Cofer on vimeo. he resides in NYC and makes skate videos, but the differece is is he does not over glamourise his vids with music. he puts the dialouge of the session into his clips, i think this gives an insight into what ima ll about.

Its been a while.....

Phew! what a manic past few weeks, newcastle,leeds,liverpool,home. so frantic! the book is done. im quite pleased with the outcome now it has taken shape.
Newcastle trip was fun,was nice to explore and i ended up in sunderland for the evening, the angel of the north was surprisingly uninspiring.

Right now its just a case of getting everythign together for the 20th..

then its a new project. finally :)

The book

Right, the book project, its looking like i want to focus on good quality photographs with some interesting. the page layout will look fairly simple with good clear font, something like helvetica or something.the point of the book is to showcase some of the exhibitions that are held in the armouries and this relates to the breif as it is in leeds and as a piece of reportage thats what i chose to study.
the book itself will be fairly small but hopefully it will look smart and the content will be interesting.

the book project

so im looking into the armories for the book project, and despite gettin absolutley torn to bits by graham yesterday my plans havnt changed. i want to take some photographs in the armories looking into the immense detail in some items. the amount of effort put into and item is astonishing. the armories has a great collection of japanese weaponry and armour which im particularly interested in.

and this is just for jokes.

Zine is done

Well the zine took shape and came out pretty rugged but well, now its time for the book, im thinking of making a book on the royal amouries in leeds, and taking some awsome photos and stuff of all the lovely items designed to take lives. I REALLY WANT TO FILM SOMETHING. shane meadows!

Getting there

started to work on my zine a bit more now, its gettign there, im really feeling a sketchy style to my work, make it look rough and ready,

listening to lyricssss, looking at zines for the breif,

so yeah, looking at stuff for zines and that, finding fan based magazines is pretty easy in rollerblading as we are such a tight knit communinty,there are two industry leaders and they are be- mag and one magazine, these are the standard.

So yeah

I just set up a blog:) here i am, im doing this because basically iv just sarted Uni. im doing viscom at leeds college of art and it seems pretty coool, looking forward to the prospects of it all and hopefully gettin somewhere in future. theres just so much to take in at the moment! all good.
